Since the existing corporate design of the AFF Galerie does not do justice to its own claims and self-image as one of the most relevant off-galleries in Berlin with a focus on young, contemporary photography, a new visual identity is to be developed. This new visual identity is intended to be contemporary and modern, lively, confident and concise, progressive, adventurous, and unconventional.
The AFF gallery offers space for the presentation of contemporary photography. It offers space for innovative concepts and a critical, independent view of the young photo scene - both in thought and in reality. In doing so, the gallery makes an inspiring but also disruptive contribution to the discussion of contemporary photography.
The visual concept is based on the idea of creating space for photography, defining, and discussing it. The starting point for the design is always the gallery or the word mark AFF GALERIE. It defines the space to be designed or the grid on which the layouts of the different formats are based. This creates a versatile, consistent, and recognizable appearance.
